The Montauk Monster a water Pokemon?

Montauk Monster I’m sure that some of you have already seen this photo posted on various sites across the internet. Well, being so intuitive and smart I just had to put my two cents in. According to various sources, this creature supposedly washed ashore on the beach in Montauk which is located at the far eastern end of New York’s Long Island. Ninja Turtle sludge? Not likely.

I don’t know about you but at first glance the monster actually does looks pretty realistic. Of course I’ve been wrong before and with so many really good photoshopped hoaxes abound it really wouldn’t surprise me if that’s just what this is. A hoax. There have already been quite a few suggestions circling as to exactly what this creature might be. A dead dog, a dead sea turtle, an X-files experiment and an Alien. I don’t believe any of those theories.

Over on the Dragguam Forums many of its members have had a very unique opinion about what the monster really is. After careful consideration and research I have to agree completely. Its a genuine water Pokemon! What else could it be? So to all those folks who don’t fully understand the nature of this creature, to wake their kids and break out their water Pokemon cards.

Gotta catch them all! More on the Montauk Monster can be found at Gawker.

Laker Fan First. Kobe Fan Second…

bryantbackI’ve been noticing a ton of articles about Bryant and his requests to be traded since the Lakers first round exit in the 2007 NBA playoffs. I’m a big fan of Kobe, and I respect his game and work ethic very much, but his character off the court has always been a subject of discussion.

Although some people have labeled him as a cheat selfish ball hog, I prefer not to place judgement on Kobe solely on what the newspapers and media write. In my eyes, he’s the best basketball player in the game right now, and as huge fan of the sport in general, what I’ve seen from Kobe on court is unreal. The man has the skill set, athleticism, and drive to win that we haven’t seen since the days of MJ and his Bulls. But enough about all that. This post was written from a concerned Laker fan who wants to know whats really going on with his beloved Laker organization.

I really want to know are what Kobe’s intentions are. Does Kobe really want to go or is he just trying to shake up the team? We had chances at guys like Boozer, Kidd, and Davis but the Lakers refused to part with players or pay luxury taxes so trades fell through the floor. Kobe’s frustration with the Laker management is very evident in the interviews I’ve listened to and on his blog he has posted on his site. Are things really going this bad behind the scenes? What are the Buss’s plans for the future?

I’ve always considered myself a Laker fan first and a “player” fan second. If Kobe is traded, I’d definitely still follow and cheer for the team he is on, but if he was up against the Lakers, I’d choose the Purple and Gold to beat him every time. I’d hate to do it, but I’ve been a Laker fan for so long, cheering for anyone to beat my Lakers would be a betrayal.

I guess this is what it all boils down to. We Laker fans want to know the truth. We have the right to know what’s really going on. We fill the seats, we pay the salaries, we support the team. I’m so tired of reading rumors and trade scenarios and I simply want to know the truth. Will Kobe be with the Lakers next season? Will Buss make the moves needed to make our team a championship contender again? What did Buss promise Kobe that he did not fulfill?

Manny Pacquiao drops Morales

PacquiaoVictory I totally missed everything this week. The Manny vs. Morales fight, UFC 65, and the latest local bodybuilding show.

This weekend I caught a minor flu bug so I was not going to risk going to these events because Thanksgiving and my birthday are around the corner. I have this nasty itch in my throat and every time I feel this, my flu usually ends up pretty bad. So right now, I’m just attacking it with Vitamin C and Zinc!

Anyways back to the fight entry. lol. From what I’ve heard and read, it seems Manny had his way with Morales most of the bout. I was told that both Pacquiao and Morales came out with a flurry of punches and attacked with wreckless abandon. That’s my kind of fight! Although it was a short bout, they told me that it was every bit as good as the other two. They just wished that Pacquiao could have beat him up a bit more. lmao. I can only imagine whats going on in the Philippines right now… Congrats Manny! I’m curious to know who is next opponent may be.

Oh, and guess what! Matt Hughes loses to George St. Pierre in UFC 65. Everything was showing today! Redemption! I just wish Penn had beat him first. I wonder if he’ll stay out of retirement now.
