Six random things about me…

I’ve been doing quite a few movie reviews lately and got tagged earlier today by Jhay over at The Pinoy Explorer. I’ve never really paid close attention to myself so this should be interesting.

Here we go.

    I. Im fascinated with anything related to science fiction and fantasy. I dont know if that makes me a geek or what, but I’ve always been an enthusiast when it involved these types of movies or books. My favorite book series is A Song of Ice and Fire and epic movies include The Lord of the Rings and Original Star Wars Trilogy.

II. I do all the webdesign and coding for a clothing company called SHOYOROLL. It is a company based out of Los Angeles California which was originally rooted on Guam. The owner is a great guy and the brand is slowly expanding its audience across the US Mainland. SHOYOROLL sponsors many Xtreme Sports athletes, particularly from the mixed martial arts arena. Kenny Florian is probrably one of the bigger names sponsored at this time.

III. Im a huge sports fan. I love American Football and Basketball. I’ve been a die hard San Francisco 49er fan and Los Angeles Laker fan for over twenty years. My all time favorite Laker is Ervin Magic Johnson and the tandem of Joe Montana to Rice is legendary. Although both teams have struggled in recent years, I still remain very faithful to them. I really dislike bandwagon fans who hop aboard the fanbase of the winning teams. It makes me sick to my stomach.

IV. Im a gym rat. Back in high school I used to be a scrawny 120 pounds. That all changed my last year of college. I was just tired of being skinny. In 2000 I was introduced to the world of bodybuilding. Its become a lifestyle for me. When I dont hit the gym, I literally get sick. I currently weigh a fairly lean 195 pounds and I still hit the gym four to five days a week. It feels great.

    V. I hate milk. I just can’t stomach it. I started using non-fat milk on my cereal in the morning as part of my diet, but I wont drink it down. The only way I actually get any real concentration of milk in my system is when I eat ice cream and that hasn’t been on the menu much lately.

VI. I love cars. Doesn’t every guy? Im only 28 and I’ve gone through more than seven vehicles. My first car was a 1991 Toyota Camry. My other vehicles have included a 2001 Chevy S-10 pickup, a 1992 Acura Vigor, two 1983 highly modifed Toyota station wagons (dont ask!), a 2003 Nissan Altima, and currently a pair of Toyota Scions. I’ve been looking at purchasing a 2006 Lexus IS350 for the wifey. Its not in the budget yet, but hopefully it will be in the near future.

Im not really good at tagging people, so the first six people with a blog that read this are automatically it! haha.

  1. I wish I could say the same for #4. I absolutely hate #5. Milk rules.

    I might be “autotagged”.

  3. I second one of the commenters. I am a devout soy milk drinker. It’s better for your stomach, too. =)

I guess this means that I am tagged too! Whee! Thanks, dude!

  • The Spirit (Latest Theatrical Trailer) -#

spirit_ver10Adapted from the Will Eisner's graphic novels, "The Spirit" tells the story of a man who fakes his own death and fights crime from the shadows of Central City. The Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson) -- who kills anyone unfortunate enough to see his face -- has other plans. He's going to wipe out the entire city. The Spirit tracks this coldhearted killer from the city's rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront...all the while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, love or kill the masked crusader.

  • My EliteXC : Heat Winners -#

kimbo_slice_elite_xcI've been in a pick'em league over at S2 to I figured I post my selections here on the site during each mixed martial art event.

As much as I would like to see Kimbo get a loss it wont happen versus Shamrock. Shamrock's going to try and prove a point and stand and bang and he's going to eat fist. lol. Did anyone see the weigh in's for Gina Carano? She had to bear all to make weight!

    My predictions:
    Kimbo Slice - KO1
    Jake Shields-KO R2
    Andre Arlovski-KO R1
    Gina Carano- Sub R2
    Murilo "Ninja" Rua-KO R3
    Yoko - Sub R1
