Lakers are in the Playoffs!

Riding on the back of Kobe Bryant, the Lakers have returned to the playoffs. Kobe has had a record season this year, shattering a ton of records and solidifying himself as the premire shooting guard of the NBA.The Lakers have guaranteed their spot in this year’s playoffs by winning their last four games and going 7-3 with Sacramento breathing down their necks. They answered the call. At the beginning of the season, many critics and Laker haters predicted the Lakers would be lottery bound with teams like Houston and Golden State supposedly on the rise. Well well well. Those two teams are out of the post-season and get to enjoy watching my boy Kobe and his Lakers take on the 2nd seed Phoenix Suns. I am so stoked.

From here on out, Im not going to expect anything from my team except to play hard every night. Kobe has brought them back from the brink to a sleeper in this year’s western conference playoff race. With Amare and Kurt Thomas out, I feel the Suns frontcourt is very week and if Odom and Kwame can continue their strong play alongside Bryant, I think we can upset the 2nd seed suns and send them packing early. We just need to contain Steve Nash. The Lakers will be ready for war.

  2. I myself think that ofcoarse one of the main reasons why the lakers are even in the playoff is because of the best player in the NBA Kobe Bryant and even though yes he does have the ball alot its because he does something with it I mean look at him not only Breaking laker records but also alot of NBA records so if you are calling him a ball hog well look what he does with the ball the records prove it..

  3. You know what if you go back and look at the way Michael Jordan Played and see the way Kobe plays they are actually very simular.. But I myself am saying Michael was the greatest and that was the past but Kobe is the greatest in the NBA for the present and the future… and will take the Lakers to several more championships…

  • The Spirit (Latest Theatrical Trailer) -#

spirit_ver10Adapted from the Will Eisner's graphic novels, "The Spirit" tells the story of a man who fakes his own death and fights crime from the shadows of Central City. The Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson) -- who kills anyone unfortunate enough to see his face -- has other plans. He's going to wipe out the entire city. The Spirit tracks this coldhearted killer from the city's rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront...all the while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, love or kill the masked crusader.

kimbo_slice_elite_xcI've been in a pick'em league over at S2 to I figured I post my selections here on the site during each mixed martial art event.

As much as I would like to see Kimbo get a loss it wont happen versus Shamrock. Shamrock's going to try and prove a point and stand and bang and he's going to eat fist. lol. Did anyone see the weigh in's for Gina Carano? She had to bear all to make weight!

    My predictions:
    Kimbo Slice - KO1
    Jake Shields-KO R2
    Andre Arlovski-KO R1
    Gina Carano- Sub R2
    Murilo "Ninja" Rua-KO R3
    Yoko - Sub R1
