Im pretty ticked off…

Tags:

I had to find out from someone else that my brother just volunteered to fight the war in Iraq. He told me he wouldn’t do it. If they call you thats fine, but I dont see the purpose in volunteering when your family and son are thousands of miles away…Why risk your life voluntarily. If you have no kids thats fine.. You have a son bro. Come home. Dont go to war…

  1. I feel your pain, but you should be proud of your brother for doing such a thing many probably wouldn’t even have thought of =)

  2. The war is unjustified, so from a moral stand-point, fighting an “enemy” that hasn’t ever threatened you or your family is just plain unacceptable. More importantly, abandoning your family is even more unacceptable.

  4. I’d be pissed as shit. Especially for such a scam of a so-called war.

  5. This is a bad idea, is he doing it for money, to get away? I hope he does not go and your family can convince him otherwise. Take care.

  7. My brother is a grown man. I do agree with Reg, but I just think he needs to reconsider and put everything into perspective before jumpin the gun. Thanks everyone for your support here! Lots of love in return to all of you!.

Fresh off the Wire

  • The Spirit (Latest Theatrical Trailer) -#

spirit_ver10Adapted from the Will Eisner's graphic novels, "The Spirit" tells the story of a man who fakes his own death and fights crime from the shadows of Central City. The Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson) -- who kills anyone unfortunate enough to see his face -- has other plans. He's going to wipe out the entire city. The Spirit tracks this coldhearted killer from the city's rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront...all the while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, love or kill the masked crusader.

kimbo_slice_elite_xcI've been in a pick'em league over at S2 to I figured I post my selections here on the site during each mixed martial art event.

As much as I would like to see Kimbo get a loss it wont happen versus Shamrock. Shamrock's going to try and prove a point and stand and bang and he's going to eat fist. lol. Did anyone see the weigh in's for Gina Carano? She had to bear all to make weight!

    My predictions:
    Kimbo Slice - KO1
    Jake Shields-KO R2
    Andre Arlovski-KO R1
    Gina Carano- Sub R2
    Murilo "Ninja" Rua-KO R3
    Yoko - Sub R1
