This movie is based on the 1976 original produced and directed by John Carpenter. The storyline to Assault on Precinct 13 centers around a crimelord known as Marion Bishop. Marion Bishop is not only wanted by the police department, but by several others as well. While Bishop is being held overnight at precinct 13, a group of men attempt to kill him within his prison cell. But there is more than meets the eye with this assassination team. A police sergeant must rally his cops and a group of prisoners to defend the precinct against the assassination plot.

The movie is a one time rental. Nothing more. I wouldn’t watch this movie a 2nd time. The action in this film kept me from leaving my seat, but after you know the plot, its not something that you can watch over again.
