Trailer : The AntiChrist

Director Lars von Trier has put together a delightful new film full of warm sentiment and light comedy called Antichrist. Actually, it’s pretty much the exact opposite. A couple that’s trying to recuperate from a tragedy go out to their heavy-handedly-titled cabin Eden to take on the elements of nature which, for some reason not explained in the trailer, are dead set on destroying them. If you’re looking for a dark, creepy, frightening downer of a movie, we’ve got something for you. Check it out after the jump. (Spike)

Trailer : The Moon

First time director Duncan Jones has an impressive little film to give us called Moon, starring Sam Rockwell. In it a man spends three years on the moon mining material that people on Earth use for energy, but at the end of his stint weird things start happening. This is looking like it is going to be a really exciting, creepy independent sci-fi, and the trailer shows us just enough to get us hooked. Take a look after the jump. (Spike)

Tyson – Theatrical Trailer

I’m actually looking forward to this one despite it getting so much negative publicity. I was a huge fan of Tyson during his prime and I’m definitely interested to see how this turns out. This will probably go straight to DVD. I’m not sure if I’d pay to see a dccumentary in a theater.

A mixture of original interviews and archival footage and photographs sheds light on the life experiences of Mike Tyson.

Astro Boy – Theatrical Trailer

Set in Metro City, a grieving scientist constructs a young robot with incredible powers in the image of the son he has lost. Unable to fulfill the grieving scientist’s expectations, “Astro Boy” leaves, embarking on a journey of acceptance and betrayal that eventually leads him back to to the home he left in order to save Metro City and the father who had rejected him. Stephen’s King “It” Returns

After nineteen years as a made-for-TV movie, Stephen King’s It is being brought back to life by Warner Bros. Based on one of the scariest of King’s many scary novels, It chronicles a group of kids who call themselves the Losers Club in 1958 and encounter a child-murdering clown — the terrifying Pennywise, or It, or Robert Gray. Cut to 1985, and the Losers Club is now a group of adults faced with the same clown they defeated 27 years ago. In the new adaptation, which will be written by Dave Kajganich (The Invasion, Creek), the time frame will be present day. Hopefully Pennywise will be just as horrifying as Tim Curry played him. Based on the popular video game franchise, female fighter Chun Li embarks on a quest for justice. Looks pretty generic to me so far. I’d probably watch this one just to see if Kristen Kruek can kick butt. haha. Such a hottie in a washed out movie franchise. Lets just hope Jean-Claude Van Damme doesn’t make a cameo
