Based on a true story, this film has to be Jet Li’s finest martial arts movie. It was touted as his final martial arts epic prior to its release in theaters, and Li certainly did not disappoint me. I thought that it contained all the right elements to become an instant classic in the Chinese martial arts genre.
Fearless left a lasting impression in my mind hours after the credits rolled. It was an extremely powerful movie that was comprised of great action sequences, breathtaking cinematography, flawless acting, and a very strong message. This is easily the best martial arts movie I’ve watched in years.
Fearless is a masterpiece in my eyes and a must have for any fan of Jet Li and/or martial arts films. If your looking for inspiration, you’ve hit the jackpot with this one.
Based on a true story, Jet Li’s ‘Fearless’ tells the life of legendary martial arts master Huo Yuanjia.

But soon his incredible fighting skills cost him the lives of the people he loves most when his family are killed in a brutal revenge attack. Yuanjia flees, no longer caring whether he lives or dies. Just as he is ready to give up hope, he is saved by Granny Sun and her blind granddaughter who accept him into the idyllic village where they live. t. What happened that day in 1910 has never been, and will never be, forgotten in China.
