Men in Black 3 (Trailer)

I’ve always been a fan of Will Smith films, and Men in Black is one of those fun films you can watch over and over again. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back this summer with another secret operation to save the earth from Aliens. Im definitely looking forward to this.

“In Men in Black 3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.”

A Game of Thrones (HBO Series)

My very first experience with A Game of Thrones was back in 2005 when a roommate of mine introduced me to the series and the great George R.R. Martin. Once I started reading, I was absolutely entranced by the storyline.

You can imagine my skepticism when HBO announced the release of A Game of Thrones as a series. The books were just too complex for a series of this magnitude to be good on television right? Wrong! I was absolutely blown away by the pilot and how well they adapted it based on the source material. The acting was great, the special effects were good, and the character development was on point.

My favorite characters in Season 1 and Book 1 continued to be Jon Snow and Arya Stark. However, Sean Bean was amazing as Eddard Stark and Emilia Clarke was absolutely gorgeous in her role as Daenerys Targaryen. Call me shallow if you will, but her scene coming out of the hot tub was absolute eye candy.

After watching the entire season, I must say that this was one of the best book to television adaptations I have had the pleasure of watching. Although there were a handful of scenes that were missing (you just cant fit everything in), the original plot was never sacrificed, and the story remained intact until the last episode.

I was a bit surprised that they did not decide to use the name “Songs of Ice and Fire” as the series title, and I’m interested to see how they continue the second season of “Game of Thrones” set to be released April 2012.

New Tron Legacy Trailer (Daft Punk)

The new trailer for the highly anticipated Tron sequel is actually pretty sick. Disney has definitely found a way to give you just enough to get all your senses buzzing. Boasting the latest in 3D technology and visual affects while combining it with Daft Punk’s awesomeness, this is sure to be a blockbuster hit. I cant wait till December!
