Merlin (Syfy Imagine Greater)

I’ve been keeping up with the Merlin series on BBC since its inception back in 2008 and I’ve been hooked since. Alot of people give the series flack for not following the more “traditional” Arthurian legend, but I’ve actually enjoyed this modernized version of it. The cast is good if not superb, and I really think this series is geared with the entire family in mind. If you have not caught the series yet, I highly recommend that you catch it on Netflix before watching Season 4 which is set to be released in the USA on the SyFy Channel January 6,2012.

Synopsis (syfy):

Merlin is a drama series which updates the story of the infamous sorcerer of Arthurian legend for a new audience.

The mythical city of Camelot, in a time before history began. A fantastical realm of legendary beasts and mysterious peoples. A dangerous world in which magic has been banned by the ruthless tyrant, Uther Pendragon. When Merlin, a young man gifted with extraordinary magical powers, arrives in the kingdom, he quickly makes enemies, including the heir to Uther’s crown, the headstrong Prince Arthur.

I’ve always been a fan of Will Smith films, and Men in Black is one of those fun films you can watch over and over again. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back this summer with another secret operation to save the earth from Aliens. Im definitely looking forward to this.

New Tron Legacy Trailer (Daft Punk)

The new trailer for the highly anticipated Tron sequel is actually pretty sick. Disney has definitely found a way to give you just enough to get all your senses buzzing. Boasting the latest in 3D technology and visual affects while combining it with Daft Punk’s awesomeness, this is sure to be a blockbuster hit. I cant wait till December!

After being transported into the surreal landscape of a mainframe computer to destroy an intruder (Tron), a programmer finds himself allied with the leader of a rebellion against a corrupt cyber-entity. ‘Tron Legacy’ is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen.
