I’ve been a big fan of Frank Warren’s Post Secret series since I read the first edition: PostSecret: Extraordinary Confessions from Ordinary Lives.
You’re sure to find a secret that you’d either identify with or even cringe at. If you haven’t read any of the books, you might’ve caught a glimpse of its images in the music video for All American Rejects’s “Dirty Little Secret.”
Tantalizing and entertaining, Extraordinary will leave you debating on whether or not you should continue to read or if you should put it down to save the secrets for later.
From disgusting secrets involving phlegm and mucus to steamy secrets about forbidden love affairs even to secrets about aging and not ever knowing about sex, any one of Warren’s PostSecret books will get you thinking about your own secrets.
(The first time I bought PostSecret, it was for my husband from our son on Father’s Day. I pasted a home-made post card and pictures of the two of them and left a secret of our own in the book for my husband to find.)

i love postsecret. i think the appeal is that people hide so much and when people air out their secrets, we actually feel more normal to know we are not the only one with problems. and sometimes it makes my problems seem smaller in comparison.
