This was definitely better than Day the Earth Stood Still, but there were alot of holes in the plot. It entertained me, but reminded me quite a bit of my disappointment after watching the last Indiana Jones... Aliens? Was the the apple tree at the end? haha I just finished with Knowing. Everybody had a nick name, etc. It was more of a cartoon than a prison movie. I have been looking forward to reading the book Next is based on, The Golden Man, as well as Paycheck. Agreed. The film did start out with a great premise and it had moments of promise as well. I liked the effects at the end of the film though...and Nic Cage's sister in the film was hot. Con Air sucked. Other than that, nothing good about this film. Nic Cage owes us.
