The Twilight Saga : New Moon Trailer
Coming Soon, Movies — By trench on June 1, 2009 at 5:36 pm | 152 VisitorsNew Moon’s first trailer was released yesterday and it looks like my foreshadowing was correct. I’ve never read the books but it was easy to see that the American Indians would turn out to be werewolves. Being such a huge fan of the werewolf versus vampire theme, this is definitely a film to check out. Its kinda cool that the Indians turn into actual “Wolves” rather than the werewolves we have seen in features such as “Underworld“. Guess we’ll have to see how special they really are when the film hits the big screen.
Some Hi-Res photos for your enjoyment as well.
Beware: If you play the first trailer for New Moon within a five mile radius of Twilight fans you risk being trampled during the mad rush to your computer that will inevitably ensue. Fans of Twilight will go nuts over this trailer, non-fans and people who just don’t really care will issue a collective, “Meh.” But it’s something new to look at, and the prospect of vampires fighting werewolves is never something to thumb your nose at. Well…actually they’re shape-shifters whose tribe just happened to take the shape of wolves, but you soooo did not hear that from me. ;)
Makes more sense Jenn now that you mention it like that. Lets keep that to ourselves! The werewolf/vampire wars are far more impressive! :)
Thanks so much for visiting my blog! Wow this is also a movie blog? haha neat! I just saw the trailer of New Moon and I am not impressed. Again Pattinson’s acting looks stale (yuuugghhh urrk) and the CGI of the wolf felt wrong. Looks wrong. I really didn’t like the book New Moon. Bella was TOO WHINNYY and makes you want to hit her in the head more than a couple of times. Maybe I’m gonna catch this on dvd. I’m not sure. howell…
Not really a movie blog, but our focus lately has been on reviews. The site is geared to anything related to entertainment really.
Thanks for visiting my blog as well. I’ll be sure to visit your site again. :)
I have to agree that the CGI leaves a lot to be desired. We’re in 2009 and that werewolf looked like he belonged in 1999. My girlfriend, a big fan of all the books, also thought Bella was irritating.
P.S. The PC terminology is “Native Americans!” Haha. Just messing with you.
So I cant use American Indians anymore? I just noticed the kid cut his hair! LOL
Werewolves? I didn’t see that coming, but then again – I was a vampire movie virgin till I saw Twilight.
Honestly, the biggest problem I have found so far is why Bella would go for that creepy pale guy when she has such a yummy American Indian guy who obviously likes her. I never would have picked Edward.
That, and the fact that Bella is portrayed by a not-very-convincing actress. I am looking forward to watching her acting skills improve during the series.
yes, werewolves. Actually, shapeshifters who happen to look like wolves! haha
Not sure if I’ll catch this one in theaters when it comes out. The first one was decent, ubt unless you have a man crush on robert Pattinson there isnt too much going on. Vamps vs. Werewolves is always cool so the film has some promise..
Im probably gonna check it out. Missed the first one in theaters, but now that the wolves are involved, gotta see what happens next. Im just into that kind of stuff. If it was strictly a love story, I’d skip it too. LOL
