Where Have All the Leaders Gone?

Lee Iacocca… one of the wisest and most charismatic men you’ll ever read about published Where Have All the Leaders Gone? in 2007 and continues to voice his opinions on global leadership.

Iacocca is a very skilled writer who doesn’t waste time on using 25-cent words to impress his readers. He noticeably uses common sense, logic, and wisdom. Where Have All the Leaders Gone? is a must-read for everyone who dares to enter the realm of politics or leadership roles in the mainstream.

At some point, all good leaders should’ve first learned to be excellent followers, and I couldn’t think of a better study guide for leadership than this book. From his “9 C’s” to his thoughts on Fidel Castro, Iacocca doesn’t bore you with hypotheticals or rhetoric. Instead, he talks to you and redeems your evaluation(s) of the power and the authority held by only the elite few. If you think nothing in this country or this world makes sense anymore, you’re bound to be inspired regardless of your party affiliation or religious background.

Empowering, sensible, and realistic, Iacocca pushes you to think more critically about the political officials we vote into office. You’ll find yourself wondering why we complicate things and how we tend to believe in poor (or even false)  leadership.

I can guarantee that you have something to gain from this book. And if you’re not (somewhat) emotionally triggered by this book I would presume that you have  succumed to imagination, amusement, and fantasy and are no longer willing to see reality and simplicity in leadership across the globe.

Three thumbs up for Iacocca and Where Have All the Leaders Gone?!
