hello all,
Yes, Victoria is a quaint little city and has many new buildings and restaurants going up. You can even take a tour in a horse drawn cart, visit Butchart Gardens, tour up island or just enjoy a great beach.

Summer weather is at last taking hold in much of Canada, so come on in and enjoy it now.

LateGate: If you go by bus and plan to stay rather late, be sure to check the schedule for the last bus that leaves the gardens!We didn’t and ended up taking a $50 cab drive back to the ferry to return to Vancouver.But the gardens were spectacular when we visited in May, 2006.Well worth the trip. trench: definitely something you probably want to check out.Man, I had no idea endignorance was still running.Great to see. Still looks the same from my last visit! Yup. EI is still around. As long as we have at least a few regular members, it will stay running. We didn’t and ended up taking a $50 cab drive back to the ferry to return to Vancouver.

But the gardens were spectacular when we visited in May, 2006. Well worth the trip.

@ Carl, We rode the COHO situated about two hours from Seattle. Forgot the name of it. It took us just an hour to arrive to Victoria. Victoria is amazing!
