haha. Thanks Jan for commenting. I do get out quite a bit and my wife is really the only company I require, but I love it when readers start convo’s on the posts. It just makes it that much more meaningful to me.

You've got lots of web search traffic, I guess. And they don't have to socialize so they don't leave comments. Perhaps you're lonely for company? Maybe you should go out more? Or be more active in social media? I don't quite know myself. I don't go out as it is. I have a day job, and I blog at night. But it feels like a full time job. I think the people that click the ads are not the commenting type. They come to a site to find info and if they can't find it a n ad click sees them off.
