The Moment of Truth-Infidelity Episode

lauren_lThis was the statement that echoed in our living room after watching the latest episode of Fox’s reality game show, The Moment of Truth. It’s a statement people should definitely adhere to, especially when appearing on a publicly broadcasted game show such as this one. “Some things are just better left unsaid.”

Lauren Cleri, 26, and rookie NYPD Officer Frank Cleri, 24, of Rockland County New York rolled the dice on the show which ultimately led to several painful questions involving Lauren’s infidelity. By the end of the evening, the couple left the show publicly embarrassed, with absolutely no prize money, and with a marriage completely in shambles.

According to the show’s executive producer Howard Schultz, Lauren had wanted out of the relationship by announcing the truth.

Reaction:

I find it so incredibly funny watching these people go on these shows without thinking about the repercussions of their actions. They complain about how tough it’s become after their experience, and whine about how painful and emotional their lives are, but fail to acknowledge that all the pain that was caused was ultimately their own doing.

As far as I’m concerned, if your willing to go on national TV to air out your dirty laundry thats your business. But prepare to deal with the consequences of your actions. Its going to happen.

Here were the final three questions, that shocked both the audience and her husband.

  1. yep, she really didn’t. I didn’t even notice her cry or nothing. She just made her statement and said “NEXT QUESTION” like it didn’t really bother her. I dont know how someone can look his/her other half straight in the face without feeling anything.

  2. Well, I guess the point is that if you’re the type that can have an affair and then broadcast it on TV… you don’t have a consience!
