Dangerous Dan Henderson for the Win!

Dangerous Dan Henderson has all the tools to beat the UFC’s current middleweight champion, Anderson “The Spider” Silva in their title bout slated for March 1st in Columbus Ohio. In Hendo’s 28 professional fights as a mixed martial artist, he has never been knocked out and I expect this record to remain intact after his 29th fight in UFC 82, Pride of a Champion.
After Hendo’s loss to Quintin Rampage Jackson in UFC 75, I truly expect Hendo to be more dangerous than ever before. He has something to prove the world, and clearly this title shot immediately after recent loss is the perfect opportunity for him to prove his point.
Anderson Silva is as good as they come. Although I feel that Hendo has fought better competition than Silva, its tough to deny Silva’s ability when you look at the replays against notables such as Rich Franklin and Travis Lutter. Silva has a phenomenal assortment of strikes and his ground game is just as deadly.
So if Silva is such a complete fighter, how does Henderson win this matchup? It will be won in the clinch where Hendo excels the most and is the strongest. Hendo’s clinch takedowns are one of the most feared in the mixed martial arts world, and expect him to use this technique furiously against the smaller and takedown susceptible Silva.
Yes, Silva is the more technical and precise fighter in this matchup, but in this fight, it will be Dan’s strength and relentlessness in battle that will pull through for him. Anderson Silva has never seen the likes of a machine like Dan Henderson in his division before, but at the end of the night, Silva will know why Dan Henderson was the King of Pride in both the Middle and Welterweight divisions just one short year ago.

Out of all the sports, I hate football and wrestling. But boxing is better than those two. Heh. ;)

Damn. My Prediction has gone down the drain! Silva gets the RNC in the 2nd! I cant believe it! I went 7-3 tonight on my predictions, but damn. At least HENDO still hasn’t been knockout. I got something right! 29 fights without being KO’ed. haha. Still can’t believe he lost. Hendo was killing it in the 1st.
Good fights tonight, eh?
We watched them. I was going for Silva. As much as I love Henderson, I just knew he didn’t stand a chance.
=(
Hendo was looking good in the first. Silva took advantage of that slip Hendo had in the 2nd and wrapped him up tight in that body triangle. I was really hoping to see Silva hit hard. He still hasn’t been tested with a good blow to the chin yet! SO DISAPPOINTED! Silva has had the belt too damn long! Wanderlei vs. Anderson!! DO IT DANA!
