Gears of War 2 Confirmed for Pre-Orders

51cVNCZCbjL._SS500_After playing through the original Gears of War recently, I seriously can’t wait for its sequel! I had stumbled across a ton of rumors about a release date on the internet but many of them turned out to be false.

Today, while browsing Amazon.com I noticed Gears 2 was available for pre-order. I figure since Amazon is taking pre-orders with a release date set at November 30, 2008, it must be legit. Im thinking of picking up the Gears of War 2 Limited Edition. Bottomline is, I’m not missing out on the debut release like I did when Call of Duty 4 first came out. I must have been the only one in my XL clan without a copy and I ended up having to wait a month after its release to get one! That sure ain’t going to happen a 2nd time!

  1. Hmm, I wonder if Kevin Riepl is doing the music for this one as he did for the first. It’s probably too early to tell, but games do tend to stick to their composers or vice versa. It was nominated or almost nominated for a few awards, but I didn’t like it too much. Hope the 2nd one is better, heavier :)

  2. I greatly enjoyed Gears Of War myself, I’d love to purchase the second one as well. Although Guitar Hero is still “muh thang”… I enjoy a switch between GOW and Halo 3.
