The rules are pretty straight forward. Write 5 things that people don’t know about you.
1. My hands shake. Literally. I sure some of you had the jitters from being hungry and tired. Well, my hands do this uncontrollably all the time. Its not very noticeable unless I’m holding an object and your looking directly at my hands. This problem started in my adolescence and has never gone away. Doctors have tried to diagnose it, but have been unsuccessful. Its a very odd occurrence because my regular activities are not hindered by my condition at all. Growing up the girls loved it, but I’ll keep the details to myself. haha
2. My handwriting is extra neat. According to those who read my post it notes or letters my handwriting is better than average. Isn’t it strange since my hands always shake? I guess I’ve learned to compensate for it without realizing it.
3. I have a soft spot for animals. Since I was a small child I’ve always had a conscience and sympathy for animals. When I’d see animals that were stray or injured, I would always try to nurse them back to health. Growing up I’d watch everything related to wildlife and at one point I seriously considered studying to become a zoologist. Obviously that dream was scratched and I became the next best thing. An educator. I still teach students to respect nature and wildlife.
4. I won 1st place in the science fair without a project! A classmate and I in elementary school had entered the science fair but did not attend the event. I do not remember the exact reason why we didn’t make it to the judging but I received a trophy anyway a few days later. We did enter another science fair and won 1st place based on our own merit. If I recall correctly, the title of the project was “How chicks react to different stimuli”.
5. I’m a product of private catholic schooling. I went to a private school for twelve years. I am the only one to complete school in a private institution within my family. I actually did extremely well throughout my education, but I think being in such a structured environment for so many years may have been part of the reason why I got into so much trouble my first few years out of high school. Thats a story in itself! I don’t regret everything that happened because it helped me grow as a person, but I think those were the darkest days of my life.
Passing the Torch.
Could you condition be essential tremor disorder?
#4 was amusing! And I love the title of your science project! LOL!
Thanks for passing the torch to me! I’ll make sure to do it when I have the time! Take care and I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas!
Hands shaking? Wow. Looks like you’ve become stronger for it!

you’ll have to give me time to do this. tags like this take a lot of effort and time to finish and you know that i don’t have that much free time now. hehe.
Merry Christmas to you too man! :)
@Jeff. As a child, I visited several pediatricians and as an adult during my physicals they tried to diagnose with no luck. It really doesn’t bother me at all and its not as noticeable as you might think. I’m 29 now and I’ve had this problem since I was like 5 or 6 years old.
@ Jaypee, April, and Marz. Merry Christmas to you all too! No rush with this Meme. I took a few days to get it done myself! haha.
i noticed the hand thing as soon as you brought it up to me the first time we met. some of my friends have the same thing and it doesn’t bother them at all.
5 things you dont know about me…
1. i have scars on my back! thing is… i don’t know what it’s from. may sound kind of stupid but i woke up from a bad dream with a bad back ach and when i started to feel for it i noticed it was bumpy and such. looked in the mirror and saw scars. it cant be stretch marks either… i checked.
2. i graduated from school a year early. it was all done for my grandma because she is sick and i dint think she would make it to my graduation so i brought it a year closer for her.
3. i like playing computer games. ever since i was 7th grade and a friend gave me a Tribes 1 CD and said to install it. been hooked on it for 5 years. g33k.
4. i have azthma (spelling?) ever since i have been more active it doesnt affect me at all unless i come down with the flu.
5. i have cajus on my big toe! a lot of people freak out when they see it but what man doesnt have cajus right?
Hrmm 5 things…
1. complete strangers freak out when i tell them i have a ten-year old son because as i’m told, i can pass for a twenty-year old. sometimes i play along that i had him when i was 10 and then i have to quickly tell them i’m kidding before they walk away
2. during my senior-year songfest (and this totally gives away that i’m a cougar!), i swear nobody remembers that i played the electric guitar! i took lessons just to perfect the chords for that performance because i promised myself i would learn it…and i did but nobody remembers! although, there IS proof in our official songfest video issued by the school.
3. i can stick my entire fist in my mouth and you’d probably only know this if i was inebriated enough and you’ve convinced me. lord knows how i figured this out on my own.
4. i hate mirrors…i use them sparingly. it makes me feel vain paying too much attention to myself.
5. i once flooded the girls bathroom in highschool because i accidentally dropped a PACKAGED (i must stress it was unused) *ahem* feminine napkin in the toilet as it fell out of my bag. it fell in right as i flushed the toilet so it went nowhere but down. when they had to close the bathroom for the day…there was the lone item floating in the middle of the floor….and i stayed silent.
