Grandma’s Boy (Unrated Version DVD)

grandmas_boyI wasn’t expecting this film to be as funny as it was. I would rate this right up there with some of cheech and chong’s greatest flicks. I was laughing from beginning to end. The film does not drag at all and the humor was great. It is definately not for kids though. Lots of references to drugs and sex and a ton of vulgarity. Its one of those films to watch when you are completely stressed out and just need to wind down. If that is you, I’d definately pick this one up.

Synopsis:

By day, 35-year-old Alex is the world’s oldest video game tester, but by night. By night, he is privately developing the next big game for the X-Box generation. When one of his roommates spends all the rent money on Filipino hookers, Alex is kicked out of his apartment, and finds himself forced to live with his grandmother and her friends Grace and Bea.

  1. That’s messed up. Why did they have to say Filipino hookers?! I find that a little offensive. Just say hookers, dammit.

  4. i’ve never heard of this movie before. i know it’s a comedy but they shouldn’t have specifically named the hookers as “Filipino”. but i think i know the reason behind it. this movie is a Happy Madison production, and one of Adam Sandler’s buddies is Rob Schneider who happens to be half Filipino. that’s the only connection i can think of. hehe :D
