I saw something like this in an episode of 'The Monk', he wasn't aware that is was the anniversary of the first time he met his departed wife, but he went to their old house and started to prepare her favorite dish. Until the true owners of the house called in the police and took away Detective Monk. With the help of a psychiatrist he was able to fix this memory problem. :D Well, just always be careful when you're on the road. Hahaha, the mind is indeed a wonderful thing.
