It was actually not too bad. I supposed, it's because it's got a lot of Mexican jokes that the audience doesn't catch. I'm not saying that the film was the funniest thing on film right now, but it wasn't that bad. It was serious, but with comedy, and heroism. I don't watch TV much so previews didn't spoil any of it for me. I've watched enough westerns to appreciate what the director did for a few of the scenes. Also, given that this is popcorn flick season, I didn't find it that bad. On another note, "The Lake House" is based on the movie I let you and Mel watch -- the Korean film "Il Mare".
