Underworld Evolution (Theaters)
Since Im such a huge fan of this genre of film, I went to catch a matinee with my brother n law today. My overall impression? It was a decent movie. The action sequences were really good. There was actually more action sequences in this film than its predecessor. The CGI was also pretty impressive along with the sets used in its production. The storyline however was pretty weak and the acting was subpar. Pretty similar to the first installment. The only real highlight is seeing Kates…. Uh.. Nevermind. Spoiler. haha. Watch the movie.
If your a hardcore vampire and lycan fan like I am, then you would probrably enjoy the film for whats its worth. If not I suggest you either rent it or skip it all together. In my case, I have to buy the DVD. I cant make the original sit alone on my shelf.
Synopsis:
Underworld: Evolution continues the saga of war between the Death Dealers and the Lycans. The film goes back to the beginnings of the ancient feud between the two tribes as Selene (Kate Beckinsale), the beautiful vampire heroine, and Michael (Scott Speedman), the lycan hybrid, try to unlock the secrets of their bloodlines. This will be a modern tale of action, intrigue and forbidden love, which takes them into the battle to end all wars as the immortals must finally face their retribution.

She shows more SKIN! I think your friends will love that. It got a 3 star rating for me, so if your into storyline as I mentioned, forget this one.
