One of the perks to teaching students is that you enjoy all the holiday breaks the children do while still being paid for it. Its wonderful when you get to spend time with your wife and kids during all the important holidays. During Christmas time, we roughly get about two weeks off from work. Its the longest break we get besides our summer vacation. My vacation started on December 19th, and it ends today on January 2nd. I go back to work bright and early tomorrow morning.
What I hate about returning to work is getting back into the routine of things. I have to get up no later than 5:30 am to walk my dog. I get back in at around 6:15, take a shower, eat a bit, and leave the house at around 7:00am. Lately, I haven’t even been out of bed until a little past 9am. haha. Its going to be a huge challenge for me to wake up to that alarm in the morning. Im really considering sleeping early so my body will be alert tomorrow. My only problem is finding a way to get to sleep. I dont know if it will be possible.
I have also have slacked off this holiday season. So many parties and recreational things to do over my break that I left the paperwork stacked pile high. I guess I’ll be burning the midnight oil making up for it. Life goes on. Happy New Year everyone.

Anyway, I know what you mean about the whole getting up earlier thing. I normally get up at 6 when school is on, but during my school holidays I am doing the same as you – 9 o’clock mornings, heh.
I think it’s so kewl you are a teacher… what grade do you teach? Elementary? Junior High? or High School?

i was used to get up at 10 since that xmas vacation.. ahh life!

i always get up early no matter how late i slept or even if i don’t have school. i get a headache if i sleep too long or wake up late in the morning. i usually get up between 6-7. hehe.
Jaypee, I used to be just like you. Wait till you get married. You will enjoy getting up late.

i seen 3 fireworks..is it 3? one at palace i think and one is at the other side of tumon,. hmm maybe pacific island or something not sure.. he he!
it was raining hard huh?!
It was raining like cats and dogs. I hated the weather. We watched it from the top floor of pleasure island. Pretty good view actually, but we got drenched in the process. We partied out at Hard Rock the rest of the night.
