Synopsis: Ever since his first childhood visit to Fenway Park, easygoing schoolteacher Ben has been in love with the Boston Red Sox. When he meets a successful workaholic named Lindsey Meeks, he warns her that being such an avid fan has been a problem in his past relationships. On the brink of turning 30, Lindsey is eager to make what seems like an otherwise promising romance work, and she agrees to go with Ben to opening day (of the eventful 2004 season when the Red Sox won the World Series for the first time in 86 years).
Fever pitch is your average love story. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, but it wasn’t completely boring either. I think that I appriciated the movie a bit more because Im a school teacher who is also obsessed with a sport.
Well, its not really a sport. Its video games. I cant seem to get my hand off the control pads. I think the only difference is that it hasn’t taken over my life and other priorities. The movie was a decent one. Good for a rental, and a night on the couch with popcorn.
I completely forgot about this movie. Thanks for the review and the reminder!
Hm… still not sure I want to see this movie. I’ll probably just catch it on TV one day. I love M-PIX! (My movie package on Satellite) hehe. So you like more realistic movies huh? What’s your favourite??
I dont have any real favorite. Actually I like fantasy movies the most then sci fi movies. Im not much for comedy unless its really good.
Hey, thanks for the Birthday wishes! :-)
My birthday’s not over yet, so I can still use that as an excuse to get spoiled! hahaha
I love your new layout? Did you get tired of Squibble? LOL
I haven’t seen this movie yet. But I really wanted to when it came out at the theater. Going to have to rent it!
:-)
I heart Jimmy Fallon… and Drew.
