Gas Prices..

The price of a gallon of gas has seemed to take a huge turn for the worse the past few months.. When I first started driving back in 1992 it was a $1.25 at the self service pump. Have times changed or what? Driving on a $5.00 tank of gas could actually take you somewhere back then. I would probrably be able to drive around the entire island twice with 5 bucks. Those days are long gone. In June gas prices shot up to around $2.60 a gallon here. By early August it rose up to $2.85 at the pump. Now, looking at the picture taken by Josie, it is creeping in on that $3.00 mark with gas at $2.93. I dont see things changing in the near future either. Fortunately, I bought two Toyota Scions which are actually pretty good with gas. Four cylinder cars seem to be the way to go. To all my friends who love their v6’s and v8’s, best of luck! We have to think about fuel economy now.

  2. we should start using electric powered vehicles and start looking for other sources of power for our automobiles. by doing so, we don’t only save money from not buying petroleum products but we also keep our environment clean. :)

  3. I totally agree with you. Its just a matter of time before petrol runs out! Its not a renewable resource! Once its gone! its gone!
