Google AdSense
I’ve been on the internet for over 4 years and the past few months I’ve really started to notice something. Ads. More specifically, google ads. There is this program called AdSense that is suppose to be a pay per click program. Well, it has caught fire. You see them everywhere. I’ve seen them on blogs, online forums, personal webpages, business sites, etc… The list goes on and on.
I’ve never really thought about checking it out until recently. Actually I’ve never clicked a google ad ever, so I was curious about results from this type of advertising. It seems that googling has become an artform. I’ve recently stumbled upon a site called Googlest. Supposedly, they will provide with keywords that will generate hundreds of dollars for a single click on a ad. Wouldn’t that be amazing. Im a skeptic so obviously Im not convinced, but after seeing the show about AdSense on G4 Tech TV, I decided to give it a whirl. Hell, if I can even generate $100 a month I’ll be more than happy. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Im just curious to know when companies like Yahoo will decide to come up with something similar to this in the future. Google has totally monopolized this business. I find it kinda funny when I visit a yahoo domain or a MSN built site with google ads on it. Google owns you!
