The Aviator (DVD)

The Aviator is a movie based on the life of billionare tycoon Howard Hughes. Hughes inherits a small fortune from his father at the age of 18 years old. The ambitious young teen decides that he wants to produce Hollywood films and moves to Los Angeles to do so. Hughes spares no expense at any of his tasks and risks losing it all to create some of the greatest films of his time, including “Hells Angels” and the original “Scarface”.

Hughes also moves on to other business ventures, including Aviation (TWA Airlines), electronics, as well as casinos.

I enjoyed this movie alot. It is a bit long, but I think this was one of Leonardo DiCaprio’s better roles so far. The movie provides a bit of drama, suspense, and action. I was really late in watching this, but seeing that it won 5 oscars it was a must see for me. Im glad I took the time out to do so…
