Back to WC3

Lately I’ve been online playing WarCraft “The Frozen Throne”. I’ve been away from battle.net for a few months because of my attention to the Xbox. Unfortunately, my brother took it home (yeah I borrowed it!), so now without the Xbox online, my gaming sessions are playing WarCraft again. Im still using my original accountand it amazes me how many people still play the game after the new World of Warcraft was released. Im afraid to move into the WOW realm because I fear that I may lose sleep playing it. If I really want to find time, it would have to be during the summer after the wedding is done. My friend Toni seems to enjoy her time playing WOW, which has tempted me to pick up a copy everytime I swing by the mall. So far I have fought the urge. Back to the Frozen Throne. In order to find some excitement in it, I’ve started to play Random. It basically chooses the race I play in the game. For those not familar with Warcraft, there are four races to choose from. Orc, Undead, NightElf, and Human. I tend to play best with Human and Orc, and I dont care for Undead much. It was those Undead games that ruined my 60% win mark. But random does make the matches more exciting. I still dont have a regular partner so most of my matches are RT’s or Random Team Games. I would love to play AT or Arrange Teams, but I have not found a partner in my time zone, or that is good enough to partner with. I either get stuck with a total asshole or a noob.

I’ve also tried solo games, which is suppose to be the “Expert” gameplay mode, but I find it rather boring. 1v1 is just no fun. I was actually decent, posting a record of 18-10, but having to constantly harass and build at the same time, make the games terribly tedious. There are times when I would just like to build a massive army and fight one huge war in the middle of the map. The carnage is superior to what you see with a solo match. Anyways I sound like geek , but its true I love gaming. WarCraft is just one of the best games I’ve played, so I thought I’d share my thoughts about it.
